Equipment

cast iron skillet

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces cube slice firm tofu
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 1 medium diced onion
  • 1 large diced red bell
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices lemon
  • ½ cup green onion

Instructions

  • Fry tofu cubes in hot oil on four sides until golden brown. Transfer the fried tofu into a colander or a plate with a paper towel to remove excess oil. Get rid of cooking oil from the skillet leaving 2 tablespoons.
  • In the same cast iron pan over medium heat, saute onions and bell peppers in for two minutes or until they become soft.
  • Add in mayonnaise, soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper and chili. Let it cook and simmer while stirring for 2-3 minutes.
  • Toss in the fried tofu and green onions. Mix until everything is well combined. Serve while hot with rice.
